The tools we useSourceforgeIn the first time, this project is hosted by sourceforge (and we thank them for this). We use the sourceforge services including the CVS, mailing lists, web site hosting,... If you plan to contribute in a regular way (write your own doc, translate a complete document, help me manage the web site,...) you'll need a sourceforge account, check the page: http://sourceforge.net/ You may also need to subscribe to the mailing lists (one for the cvs commits, and one for the discussions). To subscribe check the mailing lists section at: http://sourceforge.net/projects/sylpheeddoc/ You may want to read the excellent Getting started with sourceforge or any other sourceforge documentation (CVS, SSH, web hosting services,...) here. LinuxdocThe FAQ and manual are written in SGML (Linuxdoc) and translated into HTML using the sgml2html. These tools are known as the sgmltools, and are included in almost all the Linux distributions (at least in the good ones). A complete guide to the Linuxdoc tags, with the DTD can be found on the Linuxdoc web site, at: http://www.linuxdoc.org/HOWTO/mini/Linuxdoc-Reference.html XwebThe web pages are based on XML and XHTML pages, XSL sylesheets, processed by Xweb. Xweb is also hosted by sourceforge, and can be found at: http://xweb.sourceforge.net/ |
