AbsScreen

With the progress of Xorg it has become simpler to impliment screen adjustments on the fly. And with a bit of old-fashioned file parsing we even manage to make these adjustments permanent, if you run the utility as root.

It uses Xorg's xrandr, gtf, xwininfo, Python and ROX (it's an appdir) to make our lives just a bit easier. Changes are immediate (although it tests the config, and reverts back if you do not choose to keep the settings.)

You may notice fonts looking a bit mis-sized after you use the utility. Not to fear -- there is also a system-wide font selection utility (see setSysFont.py). the source code for AbsScreen is in it's own folder so I won't try to display it all on this page -- but it is a Python application, so the source is viewable in the /usr/apps/AbsScreen folder. (or look over the AbsScreen package in /xap.)
